PVC pipe cross 4 way connectors help you be able to connect pipes four different ways.
How many needed? 3 cross pipes.
End caps help cover the ends of the PVC pipe and keep the edges smooth.
How many needed: 4 end caps
PVC pipe can be cut in various sizes to use for water play! We cut our PVC pipe into 1ft, 2 ft, and 3 ft pieces.
How many PVP pipe pieces needed?
2 three ft pieces
4 two ft pieces
8 one ft piece.

The Dollar Store has inexpensive funnels you can buy in a three pack. We bought several of these and they fit perfectly with the PVC pipe pieces we bought. We didn’t attach them to the pipes, so they can be moved around and used in different ways as kids play.
Under bed storage bins are the MVP of outdoor water play! They’re cheaper than buying a big water table and can be used to easily store your water play materials when they’re not being used. Kids also don’t have to be tall to reach them since they’re right on the ground!
Jumbo droppers are an excellent tool for helping kids squeeze and squirt water! Add these to your PVC pipe water bin for some fun and fine motor skill building.
Have you introduced a turkey baster to your kids yet? They are the coolest to use to suck up and transfer water! Kids are always blown away by how much water can move when we use them. Try these if you haven’t before!
Pool noodles are such a fun tool to put in a sensory bin! We loved using small pom poms with funnels and PVC pipe and seeing how they could move through the pipes into the water bin.

Instructions for building the PVC Pipe Water Play Bin
Use the instruction diagram below to help you build your PVC pipe bin.
Build leg number one. You’ll need one 3ft pipe, one Tee pipe, two 1t pipes, and 2 end caps.
Build leg number two, repeating steps above.
Build the top bar. You’ll need three 2 ft pieces and three Cross pipes.
Add the elbow pipes to each end of the top bar. You’ll need two Elbow pipes.
Connect the legs to each elbow pipe and top bar.
Add 1-2 ft pipes to each Cross pipe. You’ll need three pipes.
Add the funnels to the tops of the Cross pipes. You’ll need three funnels.
Add a plastic storage container filled with water underneath the PVC pipe bin, along with other fine motor tools.
You’re ready to play!
