Nangfa Thai Kitchen @ Bedok Review : Affordable Thai Fare – TheWackyDuo.com

The heartlands have been our go-to place for good and cheap food.

One of the places we went to recently was Nangfa Thai Kitchen. It is located
along the up-and-coming stretch of restaurants at Blk 136 Bedok North Ave 3.

In fact, this was the second Thai restaurant we had been under the block. The
first was
Nakhon Kitchen, where we enjoyed the food experience.

In terms of setup, it is a casual eating place with indoor and outdoor dining.
The decor is no frills, and the clientele is mostly nearby residents clad in
standard Singapore uniforms—shirts and berms. Since this is the heartlands, it
is no surprise how Nangfa Thai Kitchen is set up to match the crowds.
The Food
For the appetizer, we started with Homemade Thai Fish Cake. The Cake was crisp outside, and a blend of species, herbs, and fish made this dish
savoury. The sweet chilli enhanced the flavour with each bite.

Next is the deep-fried soft-shell crab with a generous dose of Chicken Floss
and mayonnaise. It’s crunchy and crisp, and the mix of Chicken Floss gives it
a unique taste.

For soup, we had the clear TomYum Soup with seafood. If you are craving sour
soup, you will like this no-frills soup.

Green curry is a must when we sample Thai food. It is not too watery and is full
of meat. It tastes minty and familiar.

Verdict

If you are in the neighbourhood and craving Thai Food, Nangfa Thai Kitchen
is worth a try.

This would fit the bill for authentic Thai food at an affordable price.
